Dr Peter de Jong
GDC Registration: 280132
specialist in Implantology
Peter trained in general dentistry at the Free University of Amsterdam. He has been a specialist in Implantology, Ceramic and CEREC restorations for over 25 years. Peter is experienced in dealing with complex cases. He is often consulted by other colleagues, and has also trained and mentored fellow dentists. His range of skills include: functional orthodontics, prosthodontics and oral surgery.
Peter used to manage his own dental practice and onsite laboratory in Wuppertal, Germany, before moving back to the Netherlands, where he has worked as a specialist across various high-end dental practices. Today, Peter works in both Amsterdam and London.
Peter aims to create a safe, relaxed and calming atmosphere for all patients and is committed to high level, good quality dental care, which places the person at the heart of the treatment, and treats the whole person, and not just the dental issue.
His interest in biological dentistry spans back many years, and for that reason Peter started specialising in full Ceramic, metal free restorations early on in his career. Peter strongly believes that a focus on oral health, alongside nutrition, and healthy lifestyle choices, is important to achieve overall wellbeing, and recognises the importance to be mindful about the materials we use in dentistry and to provide treatments that take into consideration the organism as a whole. With our bodies under increasing pressure from environmental pollution, perhaps more than ever, it is important that we take good care of the things that are within our control to achieve a healthy mind and body.
In his free time, and usually before the day starts, Peter practices yoga.
